How guides are written

The approach behind Leetek setup, troubleshooting and buying articles.

Explain the decision

Guides begin with a practical question and give readers checks they can apply to their own setup. Features vary between models, so instructions distinguish general principles from settings that need confirmation in a manual.

Use the original documentation

Technical details are checked against manufacturer or standards-body information where appropriate. Further-reading links help readers check compatibility or find current instructions. An article is not a claim that every device mentioned has been physically tested.

Images and examples

Photographs and illustrative images help explain the subject. They do not establish that a particular model has a stated feature, or document a test result. Example setups are there to make a decision easier to understand.

Keep corrections practical

Product behaviour and support information can change. If a guide no longer matches current documentation, email the page address and the relevant detail to lee.chambers@leetek.co.uk.
